Judith S. Parnes, Executive Director of Elder Life Management, Inc. has been appointed facilitator at Ocean Medical Center's Schwartz Center Rounds. The monthly Schwartz Center Rounds offer an open and relaxed forum where professional caregivers have the opportunity to discuss, explore and reflect upon the difficult social and emotional issues of patient care. A broad range of professionals participate including physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, physical therapists and clergy.

Ms. Parnes is a nationally recognized gerontologist holding advanced graduate degrees, certification and coursework in social work, aging and public health. Since 1987 Elder Life Management has been assisting elderly individuals and their families with issues of elder care planning and management such as financing the cost of long term care, assisting in applying for government and community programs, coordinating a move to alternative living arrangements, as well as post-hospital discharge planning. Individual and family counseling, clinical problem-solving groups, and community education and training are also offered.
